As a birth mother/parent working with LCFS, you have the opportunity to choose a family that you believe will be best suited for your child. The following couples/families have been pre-screened, are licensed through the State of Wisconsin as adoptive parents, and are waiting to adopt a baby in the United States.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated and have approved home studies conducted by LCFS. These families have been found to be emotionally, physically and financially ready to adopt a child. The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs thorough background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse.
After a child has been placed with the adoptive family, our adoption social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family for six months, until they have met the requirements for adoption in the State of Wisconsin.
