We are Annie and Gib. We have been together for 7 years. We met online and knew instantly we were meant to be together. We got married in 2017 in Charleston, SC, one of our favorite places to visit. From our early dating years, we’ve always had the desire to grow our family and parent together. We met shortly after Annie was diagnosed with a treatable cancer that compromised her fertility. While she is healthy and cancer-free, she does not have the ability to have biological children. We are so excited to welcome a child into our lives through adoption. We live in southeast Wisconsin and spend most of our time with Gib’s daughter, Jaeli. Jaeli is a busy high school student with the kindest heart. We have two dogs – Ziva and Ruthie. Ziva is a gentle, 11-year old black lab and Ruthie is an energetic one-year-old dachshund/chihuahua mix. We spend our family time together playing golf, exploring new restaurants, going to concerts, sporting events, boating and traveling. Annie works in marketing and government relations. In her free time she loves to cook, garden, host a dinner party and loves college basketball. Annie has plenty of family support with two younger sisters and her mom who all live nearby. Gib works for the city as a police officer. He loves spending his time off doing work on our house, hunting, boating and being outdoors – summer or winter. He is a huge Green Bay Packer fan. Gib has a younger sister and his parents live within 30 minutes. We cannot express the gratitude we have for your decision to choose adoption.
