Our Mission
Lutheran Counseling & Family Services of Wisconsin puts God’s love into action by strengthening individuals, families and communities with professional mental health, addiction and adoption services because every person deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Lutheran Counseling and Family Services of Wisconsin (LCFS) is a not-for-profit agency that helps individuals and families with mental health concerns, addictions, family counseling, in-school counseling and adoption services.
With a main office in Wauwatosa, WI, LCFS has 10 satellite locations throughout the state. Our staff of psychologists, counselors and social workers welcome people of all ages, regardless of faith, culture or economic status. Each of our counselors are specialty trained in substance abuse, trauma recovery, family and relationship counseling and pediatric psychology.
In the greater Milwaukee area, we have been offering counseling services in school settings since the early 1990’s to help thousands of children receive essential mental health care. LCFS currently offers in-school counseling at 18 elementary, middle and high schools. Click here to see the schools we currently serve.
